Save the date

If you have booked your wedding with us at Beach Weddings Bournemouth for next summer, you may be thinking about sending out save the dates now. Save the dates are a great idea if you are having a summer wedding. Most people will choose to go on holiday at some point over the summer so by sending save the dates early people can ensure they are not away for your wedding day. We would advise you to send out save the dates anything up to a year in advance. Your invitations should be sent around 5 to 6 months in advance, asking for RSVPs by 2 months before the day so that you have enough time to chase replies so you can have your final numbers 1 month before the big day to finalise catering, table plans etc.

Save the dates are the first glimpse of your wedding that your guests will get! Save the dates inform your guests of your date and location but also set the tone for your wedding, giving your guests a glimpse of what to expect from your special day!

Here are some great options for your Beach Weddings Bournemouth Wedding.

If you want to make something really personal then get some props and ask your photographer to take a photo of you for your save the dates during your engagement shoot if you’re having one.

Its a great idea to have all of your stationary matching- save the dates, invitations, order of service, place cards, menus etc so that your theme carries throughout. So when you’re choosing your save the dates think about this and see if you can get the rest of the stationary to match.
